Russian Federation President Vladimir has weighed in on the November 2016 general election in the United States. Basically, Putin calls Democrats poor losers who should learn to lose gracefully and then move on.
According to reporter Kaitlin Collins, President Putin delivered that opinion during his annual press conference in the Kremlin. During the nearly four-hour discussion, Mr. Putin denied accusations from Democrat Party officials that he or his staff manipulated the American public before and during the election.
According to Mr. Putin, Russian political analysts were not surprised when the billionaire businessman won the Presidency.
“It means that a significant part of the American people have the same perception about how the world should be developing,” he said.
“It is good that people support us in this, in terms of traditional values.”
He added that “no one but the Russians expected Donald Trump to win.”
Democrats are still upset that Mr. Trump won the White House, especially since Ms. Clinton took a majority of the popular vote. At a meeting of her campaign backers, Ms. Clinton still charged that Russian interference was a factor in her loss to Mr. Trump.
